“ALE drinkers sunk a few pints and enjoyed good music and good company at the Cam Beer Festival.

The event, held at Cam Sports Club in Everlands, was a sell-out, with hundreds enjoying a day of cricket and then an evening of drinking and entertainment.

It is the first time the event has been held and is likely to become part of the social calendar.

With a whole range of local beers to choose from local breweries such as Bath Ales, Severn Vale in Cam, Stroud Brewery and Uley Brewery, drinkers were spoilt for choice. There was also food and live music.”
